SOLAR CHARGING

We are exploring opportunities to create a solar charging station in close proximity  to the Gunnison Crested Butte Regional Airport. We would like to provide a local charging station and staging area for Battery Electric Vehicles. Solar Panels at a small scale cannot be efficient at providing 100% of the electrons required, but the opportunity to utilize active solar power will nonetheless provide an impact on reducing fossil fuel consumption, provide an iconic gateway to the GUC airport and further the ambitions of the Gunnison County Climate Action Plan.
