Where is the office / rental counter?

When you arrive in Gunnison you will find the rental office in the palm of your hand. There is no office, We utilize online forms to manage rental paperwork, and we will remote unlock the vehicle when you're ready to take control. What if I get into an accident?

Start by calling 911 if you're in need of medical assistance.
 
You're responsible for any and all repairs necessary to get the vehicle back on the road.

Do i need to buy insurance from you?

We dont even try to sell it to you.
 
We do not provide insurance. All renters are required to provide their own insurance. Most automobile policies in the USA provide coverage while driving any other vehicle. If you get into an accident and need an insurance claim, you will be utilizing your own insurance company.

If you do not like the risk of using your own insurance or you do not have a USA insurance policy that covers you while driving another vehicle you can also book a vehicle through our booking partner "TURO" where there is an option to purchase additional insurance. They are MORE than happy to sell you all the insurance you need.

I need to drive to denver. Do you offer 1 way rentals?

No.
 
We have a very small fleet of vehicles and we cannot send someone to pick up a vehicle in Denver. or Montrose or elsewhere.
 
All vehicles are to be returned to a drop off location in the Valley.

What kind of Suburbans are available?

We have Chevrolet Suburbans + GMC Yukon XLs ( nearly identical)
 
We have also introduced several new All Electric SUVS ( Rivian R1S + Tesla CyberTruck )

Can i get a bike rack, ski rack or a car seat?

Accepted Answer

Yes.
 
Please just ask, we have bike racks, car seats, ski racks, etc...

BIKE RACK = KUAT 2x trailer hitch mount ( $50 flat rate / trip )
CAR SEAT = Booster / Forward facing toddler / Rear facing Infant ( $25/ each flat rate / trip )

SKI RACK = roof top for Rivian Only ( Included in all winter rentals as standard equipment )
